The equipment is an automated work station with attended operation to assemble the Logical Dome Assembly. The working area of the machine is designed as a doubled revolving table. The assembly and handling of parts inside the machine ensure a pair of 4-axial Scara manipulators. Individual components of the assembly – Casing, Protector Cover a Luer Lock Nut – are supplied into the machine automatically by vibration feeders.
The operator places a Membrane on the assembly in a manual workplace from the front part of the machine. The Membrane is subsequently pressed into the assembly in the machine. The assembly is then tested for tightness, treated by application and polishing up a very thin silicone coating, tested by a multiple camera check and assembled with the other components.
